The nearest airports to Iguazu Falls are:

By Rail:

While there is no direct train service to Iguazu Falls, travelers coming from different parts of Argentina can use a combination of rail and road transport to reach this natural wonder. The closest major railway connection is to Posadas, the capital of Misiones Province, from where buses operate to Puerto Iguazú, the gateway town to the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls.

Argentina’s railway network offers limited long-distance services, and currently, there are no direct trains to Puerto Iguazú. However, travelers can take a train from Buenos Aires to Posadas, which is the closest train-accessible city to Iguazu Falls. Once in Posadas, travelers can continue their journey by taking a long-distance bus to Puerto Iguazú, which is about 300 km (186 miles) north of Posadas. Upon arrival in Puerto Iguazú, visitors can take a local bus, taxi, or tour shuttle to the entrance of Iguazú National Park, where the waterfalls are located.

From Buenos Aires, Argentina: The journey takes approximately 18-20 hours by bus or car via National Route 12.

From São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: Long-distance buses operate to Foz do Iguaçu, taking about 15-18 hours from São Paulo.

From Asunción, Paraguay: A short 5-6 hour drive brings visitors to the falls via Ciudad del Este, which borders Foz do Iguaçu.
